Pathfinders is a fun-filled adventure for girls who are 12 to 14. It's THE place to explore your interests, learn new skills and hang out with girls like you. Best of all, you'll get the chance to make a difference — in your community and in the world at large.
What's Pathfinders All About?
Adventure? Check. New challenges and experiences? Check. Good friends? Check. Pathfinders really does have it all. If outdoor activities like camping are your thing, then you'll dig the outings and trips you'll get to organize as a Pathfinder. If you're into making your community a better place, then Pathfinders will help you discover how to get involved. If you want to explore new interests like photography, music or designing your own clothes, well Pathfinders can help you do that, too! Pathfinders is the place for girls like you to have fun and grow through a wide variety of experiences. Get involved and see for yourself!
How is Pathfinders Set Up?
As a Pathfinder, you'll meet in a unit with girls your own age. You'll have a leader, or Guider, to help you as you take on your challenges. But the cool thing about Pathfinders is that every Member of your unit has an equal voice in all the decisions, big or small. Everyone discusses and decides on group activities. In Pathfinders, it really is up to! You decide!
Making a Difference
Making a difference is what Guiding is all about. As a Pathfinder, you'll have lots of chances to take the lead, get involved and help others. You can volunteer your services, on your own or as a unit, within your community. As a Pathfinder, you'll get to turn the Promise and Law into action by giving your time and energy to something you believe in.
